What is History?
Everything in the past and the many sometimes we highlight the important things of the past which is...
History happens in the past and uh yeah
Important events in the past and...and okay
History is all the inportant things that have happened in the past that have affected our life today, sort of.
History is the important things that have happened in the past and they don't really repeat themselves.
History is events that have happened in the past, but they don't necessarily have to be important.
Things that are important like if they efffect us effect people today then they then its memorable.
Anything that has a impact major impact on the world and it effects other countries or other places.
Things that have happened more recently than others. Like World War II is a big thing, but the person who made the longest jump ever on a parachute. We probably all know that even though it happened a couple of weeks ago.
Some important histoy is that stuff that affects us, but unimportant history is what I am saying now. It doesn't really matter because it doesn't really matter.
Make a big change in something like the end of Dark Ages.
If a lot of people die then I think it would be an important part of history because 9/11 or World War II.
Those who don't learn about history are doomed to repeat it. He said tha tyou have to learn about it because then you know what they did and what happened before they did it, so you can do somethin gdifferent in order to try ot make it better. If it's good already then you can do it the same way.
My teacher was telling us about the Yellow Fever in Pennsylvania in 1776 because so many people died. Something like me saying, "a" isn't very important because it doesn't effect anybody.

In the Panama Canal was made then a lot of people could go through the continent (east coast to west coast) a lot easier because you didn't have to go around. It became a lot easier for people to travel.
Martin Luther King because now African Americans and Whit people can go to the same school and interact with each other.
When we became our own country, signed the Declaration of Independence we became our own country.
Orville and Wilbur invented the airplane because otherwise we'd have to take a train to go to canada. It makes travel a lot faster.
Henry Ford made the assemly line for the first vehicle. Now we are able to produce cars faster, that way we can have more transportation.
Egyptians created the first alphabet which inspired people to use letters to communicate.
Einstein figured out how the universe works.
Rosa Parks took a stand for what she believed and now it affects us because if she hadn't stayed on the bus then nothing may have changed from then to now.
My family thinks Martin Luther King is realy important because if Martin Luther King hadn't led the Civil Rights Movement then people today would still be living like they did before.
There's like two people: Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi encourage people to stand up to people who are unfairly ruling over them. Ex. The british ARGH!
What is history?
History is something that happened in the past.
History doesn't necessarily have to be important.
History is EVERYTHING that happens in the past.
The most popular type of history is "important" history.
What makes history?
Something that happened in the past.
If you want it to be informational history then it has to be something about who does things different that what people normally do it as.
It is a breakthrough because all the things that are really important history...yeah, all the things that everyone else was trying to say.
Something that happens in the past that someone has done differently.
I think what Cate was trying to say is that all the famous people in history got famous because they did stuff differently than everybody else.
People do things that change the country...or world.
What makes certain events in history more memorable than others?
If someone memorable did it.
When somebody does something that changes the world or makes a big impact.
When someone tries something different.
When someone invents something new.
When some brave military hero did some crazy mission and survived.
A tree can't drop a bomb on a city.
A hurricane can be a part of history.
Something that makes an impact.
Natural disasters to the world.
Animals can do things, too. --One story about fox stealing shoes.
When people found giant squid
Maybe a large event that affects how we live today...like the Civil War.
Americans were under the control of Britain, and they were taxing people so much, so Americans didn't like how Britain was treating them, so they began to rebel.
That affected our freedom.
